You are warmly invited to the 8th Baltic Electrochemistry Conference: Finding New Inspiration 2 (BEChem 2024), held in Tartu, Estonia, on April 14-17, 2024. The meeting will be hosted by the Institute of Chemistry at the University of Tartu in collaboration with the Estonian electrochemistry society Elektrokeemia Selts.
The scientific program of BEChem 2024 will focus on sustainable energetics, the application of operando and computational methods for the development of interfacial electrochemistry as well as finding new employment for prominent electrochemical measurement methods.
Tartu, the city of good thoughts, is known as University city since the heart and soul of it is the University of Tartu (est. 1632). The student life, artistic vibe, and historic neighbourhoods hand-in-hand with technological amenities, create an inspiring atmosphere. The city of Tartu, together with Southern Estonia, is the European Capital of Culture of 2024 (Tartu 2024).
The conference venue of BEChem 2024 will be V Spa and Conference Hotel, which is comfortably located in the centre of Tartu.
The conference will start at 11:40 on the 14th and finish at 12:40 on April 17th, 2024. As Tartu is the European Capital of Culture of 2024, we suggest making your accomodation reservations ahead of time.
